Muy molesto e increíblemente indignado se encontraba el reguetonero Daddy Yankee durante una conferencia de prensa que convocó en Puerto Rico, con el propósito de desmentir y aclarar un reportaje de la revista de farándula TV y Novelas en el que se afirmaba que el artista es practicante de la santería.
Aludió a los lectores y prensa en general al decir que "Ustedes me conocen bien y saben que yo no acostumbro hacer conferencias de prensa para aclarar chismes de ninguna índole, pero en esta ocasión lo he hecho así porque ni con Dios ni con mis creencias religiosas nadie va a jugar".
